Please be sure there are no missing pages. All documents should be present.

Do not sign the document until you are in the presence of the notary.

Completely fill all blank spaces in the document before the notary arrives . But do not sign. Notarizing documents that are incomplete or have blank spaces may harm the signer and is illegal in Florida.

If you have any questions about how to complete the document , contact the person who drafted or requested the document. A notary Public is unable to provide legal advice or assistance in the drafting and / or completion of documents.

Every signer must physically appear, be coherent and present acceptable ID at the time of the notarization.

Original documents must be presented for all copy certifications.

Vital records( birth, death and marriage) cannot be notarized.

Know which notary Certificate you need. A notary cannot give advice on which one to use. If you do not know what notary certificate you, check with whoever will receive the document after notarization , or a qualified professional such as an attorney.

Documents written in any language other than English will not be notarized.
